Linux Notebook purchasing guide(Linux筆電採購指南)

目前幾乎主要的硬體都支援Linux了,但是我們在為Linux採購筆電時還是充滿著許多疑問,怕不相容,買的規格不是自己要的之類等等.就提夠一些採購的方法給大家做為購買時的參考吧.

用途
可以先想一想你打算拿這台筆電來作哪些事,再看自己的用途去選擇規格.
提供一下購買的思考流程給大家做參考吧

1. 預算有多少呢？
2. 打算買幾吋的(11" 13 " 15" 17" 越大當容越重越難攜帶啦)
3. 使用用途是上網文書,系統管理,軟體開發,玩遊戲可能用到windows等...?
4. 需要多少小時的電池使用時間呢？
5. 光碟機是否需要,或者需要藍光或燒錄DVD？
6. 要玩遊戲的話,可能需要雙系統或者開虛擬機器RAM,CPU跟顯示可必須都有不錯的規格.權衡之後可以想一下用桌電是否CP值更高?

Kindle 3G firmware update 3.0.1 to 3.0.3 by easy 3 steps

1.Go to this link http://www.amazon.com/gp/help/customer/display.html/ref=hp_rel_topic?ie=UTF8&nodeId=200529700
& download Kindle 3G (Free 3G + Wi-Fi) - U.S. and Canadian Customers*: Download 3.0.3  
Your serial number will start with "B006" (My Kindle bought for US Amazon & chose this version)

2.To connect you Kindle by USB cable , then open the Kindle storage disk and drag & drop you download file "Update_kindle_3.0.3_B006.bin" to the disk.

(you will see a lot folder ,just put on the directory & no into any folder)

3.Eject the Kindle to safely disconnect Kindle from your computer and Waiting your Kindle firmware installation and to be auto restart.

finished & check your Version info again

Home => Menu => Setting(show on the screen right down)

If you see "Version:Kindle 3.0.3"

Kindle 3G(all new) & iPhone 3GS(second hand) GOT

kindle 3G is good & convenience on reading. By the way, the other function is not good enough.
The web browser is simple that can only use html & Javascript. iPhone is easy to use and UI friendly. But I had no time to play it all.
